I apparently write poetry

SOOOOOOOOO..........

Remember about 3-4 years ago when the cool thing to do on facebook was to answer those random questionnaire things in the notes section and tag a bunch of friends and get them to answer the same questions and you all laugh at the ridiculousness of the answers and then completely forget about them like 2 months later?

THEY STILL EXIST.

Facebook recently rearranged my timeline (again), and guess what popped up? All of those questions and answers.

I was impressed that the note section was still in existence on Facebook.

Upon making this discovery, I did what any normal human being would do. I re-read all of my answers and laughed at the greatness of my 15 year old self.

And by greatness, I mean utter craziness.

A person should not be allowed to use "lol" that many times.

ANYWAY.

During my perusal of the mind of early teenage Alaina, I stumbled across a poem that I wrote after camp one year, and decided that I should share it again.  I'm really quite proud of it.

It's a nice reminder of how spectacular my God really is.

So, here you go.

My True Love Story

Every girl wants a fairy tale
Filled with castles and princes and love
And until my fairy tale comes around
I've got the love from the one above

His love is perfect and never ending
It never gets jealous and is always forgiving
It is patient and fair, no heads and no tails
But the best thing about it is
His love never fails

So while you wait for your prince
I'll live with my true love story
And stick with the King who made me
And whom I give all the glory.
